Q:

Can you provide results for all the materials you have tested?

A:

No, we do not provide general information because many results do not translate.  The characteristics of most materials will vary according to where they originated.

Also, each test we run is for a specific purpose.  The parameters of the machine are set for the customer's requirements, the purpose of which differs in each case.

Q:

What test results can you give us?

A:

You tell us what results you are looking for, and if we have tested a similar material, we will advise you of the indicative results you may expect.

Q:

What is the particle size distribution in and out of the DevourX?

A:

DevourX is a fine grinding machine, not a crusher.

The machine will achieve a size reduction of between 500 and 1200 to 1.

Q:

What moisture reduction can the machine achieve?

A:

Moisture reduction rates are material specific.  Results will depend upon the input moisture content of the material, the type of material and model of machine.

Q:

What is the maximum moisture content that can be processed by the machine?

A:

We do not recommend processing material which has a moisture content above 40%.

There are some applications where the machine can process material which has a moisture content above 40%, for example, it has produced exceptional results on brown coal with a moisture content of 63%.

Q:

How does the machine remove moisture?

A:

Moisture is separated from material by physical events occurring within the machine and is exhausted with the air thru the collection system.

Q:

Does the machine require heat to reduce moisture?

A:

No heat is required for the machine to accomplish moisture reduction.

Q:

What is the noise level of the machine?

A:

The output noise level depends upon a number of factors including, the environment, the collection system, sound proofing and machine model.

The operational noise level is within the requirements of occupational health and safety guidelines.

Q:

How close to the machine will hearing protection be required?

A:

We recommend hearing protection be worn at all times the machine is in operation.

Q:

Does the machine have a requirement for positive or negative pressure load?

A:

The machine will operate at optimal efficiently unless the back pressure is too high.  Pressure can be controlled by the exhaust fans.

Q:

What control system does it use?

A:

The control system is compatible with almost any commonly used system.
